In my many years of teaching and being a student, I have learned that complete health involves M+B+S=U
Mind-Be Present and Attentive at what you are doing and/or who you are with. What are the benefits of that action to your body? How are you going to balance the everyday task, let alone your checkbook? Be honest, positive and encourage yourself in everything you do and surround yourself with people that is honest, positive and encourages growth for you and your surroundings.
Body - Acknowledge every part of your body for its actions and offer gestures of gratitude for the level it is working for you. Thank your brain for working at the level it working at, thank your lungs for allowing you to breath, etc. Encourage your body to get freed of the box. Try new and exciting ways to exercise. Like Water Aerobics, Kickboxing, Cycling, AfroAerobics, Sweat Yoga and more. Feed your body with optimum Fuel. Eat more of those foods that make your joints, organs, tissues, and, toes, ears, nose and muscles feel good. Like Spinach, Green Beans and Lentils.
Spirit - There are so many different belief out there in our vast society, but there is an unseen force within each one of us. Some say it is our aura, light, and/or conscious. Explore different religions (don't convert) but explore, find out how Buddhist became Buddhist and what is the difference between Isalamic Faith and the Nation of Islam, the Jewish Faith and Christianity. Explore your current faith. Try prayer, meditation, fasting and/or group support. Find a centering tool or resource.
